Chore-Time has introduced the CATALYST® OVO™ Control, designed specifically for layer operations. It offers specialized functionality for managing ventilation, feeding, lighting and other systems in all types of layer houses, from traditional to free range.

Built on the easy-to-use CATALYST Control platform, the CATALYST OVO includes a dedicated nest clock. It can track egg collector and manure belt runtimes, as well as control temperature and humidity in the egg room. Up to eight independent light clocks can be connected with up to two dimmers per light clock. As many as 20 egg counters can also be connected.

For organic and free-range egg producers, the CATALYST OVO offers neutral-pressure ExactAir™ Ventilation functionality to better manage climate in houses with outdoor-access doors. With the doors open, it automatically adjusts the positive-pressure and tunnel fans, as well as air inlets, to control house temperature and optimize airflow distribution for maximizing bird comfort and air quality. When the doors are closed, it reverts to standard negative-pressure power and tunnel ventilation. To simplify house management, the CATALYST OVO can also automate the opening and closing of the outdoor-access doors.

The CATALYST OVO features a 10.1-inch high-resolution touchscreen display with dark-mode functionality, multiple graph screens, built-in language options and many other advanced capabilities in an easy-to-use interface. Users can monitor their operations remotely through the CHORE-TRONICS® Mobile App.

For growers looking to modernize existing equipment, CATALYST OVO update kits allow existing CHORE-TRONICS 2 and CHORE-TRONICS 3 controls to be upgraded to the CATALYST platform without removing the main enclosure or relay boxes.
